Fascias, soffits & guttering across Kent.
Rainwater needs to get off the roof and away from the house — properly. Full UPVC replacement, gutter repair, cleaning and new downpipe runs across Kent.
Fascias, soffits and guttering — done properly, first time.
Fascias, soffits and gutters are usually the first parts of a roof to fail — they take direct rainwater, support the gutter weight, and rot or crack quietly until the day a section sags. Most of our work here is full replacement: old timber fascia stripped off, new UPVC fitted with deepflow gutter, soffit ventilation refreshed, and downpipes re-run cleanly to gully or soakaway.
We also do gutter cleaning, leak repairs and joint re-sealing on existing UPVC systems. Most blockages are eaves moss, leaves and tile-edge debris — a single morning’s work usually clears the lot and gets the rainwater flowing again.
Every kind of fascias, soffits and guttering work we take on.
-
UPVC fascia replacement
Old timber stripped; new UPVC fascia with the gutter brackets pre-located on the back face. White, woodgrain or coloured.
-
Soffit replacement
UPVC or hollow-back soffit board with continuous ventilation strip — important for stopping condensation in the loft.
-
Bargeboard replacement
UPVC bargeboards on gable ends, matched to the fascia finish.
-
Gutter replacement
Half-round, square, deepflow or ogee gutter in standard or aged-look colours. Properly graded to outlets.
-
Downpipe runs
New downpipes, including swan-neck sections out of awkward eaves and shoes to direct flow into gullies or soakaways.
-
Gutter cleaning
Full clear-out, joint check, downpipe rod-through, and a wash-down where the rest is sound.
-
Gutter leak repair
Joint re-sealing, bracket re-fix, regrading where the fall is wrong. Often cheaper than full replacement.
-
Hopper heads
Decorative cast-iron-look hopper heads for period properties where the original detail matters.
-
Cast iron repairs
Where original cast iron is still serviceable, we’ll repair and re-fix rather than replace.
Signs your fascias and gutters need attention
-
Gutter sagging visibly in the middle
Bracket fixings have pulled out of perished fascia. Replace fascia first, then re-fix gutter.
-
Black stains down the wall under the gutter
Joints leaking, or the gutter is overflowing in storms. Clean & re-seal, or regrade.
-
Soffit flaking, paint peeling, signs of rot
Wet timber. Soffit and likely the fascia behind it need replacing.
-
Birds in the eaves
Soffit board has rotted through. Replace with UPVC and proper ventilation strip.
-
Water tracking down the wall from the eaves
Felt has perished at the eaves — gutter is fine, the water spills behind it. Roofer’s job.

Fascias, soffits and guttering — frequently asked questions.
Direct answers to the things Kent homeowners ask us most about fascias, soffits and guttering. Don’t see yours? Just call.
How much does fascia and gutter replacement cost?
For a typical 3-bed semi (front and back), full UPVC fascia, soffit and gutter replacement runs £1,500–£3,000 fitted. Larger detached homes £3,000–£6,000+. Cost depends on linear metres, scaffold needs and any soffit ventilation upgrades.
Can you replace just the gutter without replacing the fascia?
Yes — if the fascia is sound. The new gutter brackets fix back to the existing fascia. We always check the timber first; replacing gutter onto rotten fascia is a waste of money.
Do you offer black, brown or coloured UPVC?
Yes — white, black, anthracite grey, woodgrain effect (oak, rosewood, mahogany), brown and a few other colours. Different system manufacturers offer slightly different ranges; we’ll show you samples.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Once a year minimum — typically late autumn after leaves have dropped. Properties with overhanging trees or lots of moss may need twice a year. We offer annual maintenance plans if useful.
Will new fascia improve loft ventilation?
Yes — modern UPVC soffits include continuous vent strips that current Building Regs require. Most old houses have effectively no soffit ventilation; new fitting often noticeably reduces loft condensation.
Do you take the old timber away?
Yes — old timber and old gutters all skipped and removed as part of the job. Site left clean.
